How a Singlefare evening works

Step 01

Find a supper

Browse hosts in the city you're traveling to. Each evening lists the menu, the table size, and the neighborhood.

Step 02

Claim your seat

One RSVP, one seat. Your host sends notes the day before — what to bring, how to find the door, what's on the stove.

Step 03

Show up hungry

Long table, slow courses, strangers who won't be by the end. A photo recap lands in your inbox the next morning.

This weekend's table

Hand-picked hosts. RSVP closes 24 hours before.

Setting the table…
Host notes

A letter from your host, the night before.

Not a calendar invite. A real note — what's on the menu, what wine they're opening, the buzzer code, and whether the cat is friendly. Because walking into a stranger's home shouldn't feel like a reservation.

From Inês · Friday 6:42pm

"Hi you. I'm braising the bacalhau slow tomorrow, so come anywhere between 7:30 and 8. The buzzer is unmarked — third button from the top. My neighbor Tó will likely shout hello from his window. He's harmless. Bring nothing but yourself. — I."

The morning after

Photo recaps, in your inbox by noon.
